Cash Command Centre

Turn payment timing into a decision.

Start with the opening bank balance, add the weeks in which money moves, then compare the plan with your minimum safe cash buffer.

13-week forecast builder

Amounts are treated as cash movements, including taxes where applicable.

Calculated locally
01

Set the cash boundary

The minimum buffer is the amount management does not want projected cash to fall below—not merely zero.

Use cash that is genuinely available to the business. Exclude undrawn facilities unless you intend to model them as an inflow.

Scenario assumptions

Only customer receipts and variable supplier/other payments flex. Payroll, tax and debt remain fixed.

02

Add the recurring rhythm

Use this shortcut for amounts that recur every week. Monthly, irregular and one-off payments can be corrected in the weekly table.

Apply these amounts across all 13 weeks, then edit the actual payday, tax, debt and supplier-payment weeks below.

03

Make each week real

Enter expected cash dates, not invoice dates. Keep inflows and payments positive—the forecast applies the direction.

Built for weekly use

A forecast becomes useful when it changes a decision.

The tool separates expected timing from scenario pressure, then shows the earliest week management needs to act.

01 · INPUT

Forecast the bank—not the profit.

Use the weeks cash is expected to clear. A profitable invoice that arrives late cannot fund this week’s payroll.

02 · CHALLENGE

Flex timing before it flexes you.

Stress customer receipts and variable payments while fixed commitments remain visible.

03 · ACT

Manage to a buffer, not zero.

Identify the funding or working-capital action required to preserve a deliberate minimum cash position.
