How this estimate works

Assumed routing: of applicable token work. This is an example, not a promised mix for every task. It uses published standard API prices and one million input plus one million output tokens.

Short-context standard API, uncached input. It excludes retries, cache effects, reasoning and tool costs. Subscriptions may not save cash when you change routing, and models differ in capability.

The V2 installer is at RC1 and is being checked on real machines. It is not production-proven and universal compatibility is not established. Your reward is for completing the test and sending evidence, including honest negative feedback—not for a positive review.

What you need before testing.

Provider accounts and API charges stay under your control. Never paste credentials into Executive Compass.

Codex on Windows

A supported ChatGPT/Codex setup on Windows 10 or 11 x64. You need access to use Codex during the test.

A DeepSeek Platform account

You must be able to create an account and API key. The key is entered locally in DeepSeek Harness Web during setup; this site never asks to see it.

A small API balance

You pay DeepSeek directly for your API use. A small balance is enough for the beta test; actual use depends on the work. DeepSeek may set its own minimum top-up or fees—check your signed-in billing page for current terms.

Add DeepSeek Funds

RC1 has a Node 24 requirement. Prefer a fresh Windows machine, virtual machine or dedicated test device, especially if existing projects rely on another Node version. Back up important work before installing pre-release developer software.

Read before applying

This installer can change your development setup.

It may install Node, Git, Python, pnpm and DeepSeek Harness; modify DeepSeek Harness-specific configuration; and install pinned plugins. It should restore temporary npm configuration after use. Installation can fail or behave differently across machines.

Test on a machine you’re comfortable using for pre-release software.
  • Back up important work first.
  • Do not use it on a machine where replacing Node 24 could disrupt projects.
  • Follow the test pack in order; stop if a safety check fails.
  • Never send API keys, passwords, access tokens or credential files.

Tell us about your test setup.

We check these details against the beta requirements and available capacity. Eligible testers receive immediate download access and an approval email. We won’t ask for provider credentials.

Eligibility and beta confirmations

Please confirm each item to apply. This beta is for Windows 10/11 x64 users with Codex access.

Never enter or send an API key, password, access token or credential file.

For selected testers

Secure test pack access.

Approved testers receive immediate access above and a private download token by email. Enter your emailed token here when returning. Access secrets are kept only for the current page and are not saved in browser storage.

Send your test results

Email the completed results template and relevant logs to info@executivecompass.global. Include your beta ID and whether you had a Full Pass, Safety Pass or Fail. Attach optional screenshots only if helpful.

Remove API keys, passwords, access tokens and other secrets from every file before sending. Do not send credential files. Email is the manual evidence route for this first five-person beta; clicking the email link does not submit results or mark the test complete on this site.

This is pre-release software. Bugs, incomplete behavior and installation failures are possible, and not every Windows environment will work. Back up important work and follow the test instructions.

You are responsible for your DeepSeek account, API key and provider charges. Keep credentials private, enter API keys only in the local DeepSeek Harness setup, and remove secrets from any evidence you send.

Do not redistribute or resell the beta package or publish private installer files. Return the required test evidence, including negative results. Executive Compass may use anonymised technical feedback to improve the product. Testimonials or public attribution require separate permission.

After completing the test and submitting the required evidence, you receive a free personal, non-transferable V2 licence for your own Codex setup. It is not for redistribution, resale or team use. No savings, compatibility, identical model quality or specific results are guaranteed. No positive review is required.
